In fact, when factoring in total operational costs, they reported a Q1 2022 gross margin of 79%. But, even if Bitcoin was trading at its 52-week low, CleanSpark would still net some juicy margins. This is significantly less than the $28,957.79 to $68,906.48 range Bitcoin has traded in during the past 52 weeks. If you’re not a fan of this genre, you should probably avoid this one, but fans should certainly look into picking this one up at the $19.99 price tag. I had a little issue with the controls here, but I feel that was mostly me being used to RTS games on a PC rather than a console. There is a ton of content here and the multiplayer is robust and a ton of fun. The sound effects really add to game however, lots war horns and fitting sounds as your troops are shot with canons and buildings and such are being upgraded.Īll in all while I can’t say Mushroom Wars 2 changed my mind about the genre, it’s certainly a great game for fans of it. Think epic Lord of The Rings music with some whimsy! There is no voice acting in the game, but there are some grunts and conformation noises from the troops. It has this nice fantasy feel while still being kinda lighthearted. While I wouldn’t call the soundtrack great it does fit this game pretty well. Pahom was by far my favorite, the Reaper shroom is coming for your soul! The game runs at a solid framerate docked or undocked no matter how much craziness is happening on screen. Everything looks to be hand painted, so it kinda looks like a war with tiny soldiers is taking place on canvas. Well, the game is packed with content, but how does it look you may ask? It looks pretty good honestly. This really adds some spice to multiplayer matches and depending on who you choose the battle can turn out very differently. These include things like buffing defense, giving towers more firepower for a time, increasing attack and speed temporarily and more. There are 12 of these to choose from and each has their own special skills that can really turn the tide of battle. I played quite a few matches online with no lag at all, so everything seems pretty solid here.Īnother thing that really adds to the multiplayer is that each player will choose a hero at the beginning of the game. This means you can set up matches that are free for all or go 2 vs 2. Matches can be played on or offline with up to 4 players. There are three different match types to choose from Conquest, where you take all the buildings on the map Domination, where you capture all the special buildings on the map and lastly King of the Hill, where you score points for taking buildings and first to 300 wins. Matches here are fast, frantic and downright fun. The muliplayer however makes up for any shortcomings there by a mile. I mean there are some pretty neat cut scenes with great artwork, but there are so many of them it seems to drag on. The single player can feel kinda of repetitive. There are lots of different ways you can play this, in fact I would say the story missions feel more like a puzzle at times since they are trying to teach the proper way to counter opponents tactics. If the tower placement is not helping you can tear it back down, so it can produce them again. It wouldn’t produce Soldiers any but would attack enemies that come near. So this always has you asking the question, do I spend troops to upgrade or attack? You may want to upgrade one of your structures to a tower. You can upgrade these buildings to speed up the rate at which troops are amassed. This is basically like gathering resources in other RTS games. Your troops will accumulate in your bases as time passes. Proper planning will go a long ways towards victory in any match. Mushroom Wars 2 is an easy game to learn, but it takes time to master. ![]() The pacing at which this unlocks is a bit strange, since they seem a bit too spaced out, but this is far better than one long dry tutorial as you are getting bit of story as you learn the game’s mechanics. Over 200 to be exact, and progressing through these will give you tutorials on how to utilize all of your units and resources in the game. The first thing I noticed was there is a ton of single player missions in the game. I had heard great things about the first game, so let’s see what the sequel has to offer. ![]() This is pretty rare for me since I think last one I really enjoyed was Warcraft 3, but when an opportunity came around to check out Mushroom Wars 2 on the Nintendo Switch, I decided to jump on it. The RTS genre is one I don’t take on very often, but I do enjoy a good game in the genre when they roll around. ![]() Search options and categories are helpfulĪlmost all of the titles offered within the service can be downloaded, with the exception of PS3 games. While original Xbox games are on Microsoft’s subscription service, they don’t have Achievements (the Xbox equivalent of PlayStation’s Trophies) retroactively included. This is one small, distinct advantage that the new PlayStation Plus has over Xbox Game Pass. Not all classic games will get Trophy support, as publishers and developers have the final say on whether to implement them. The Trophy system started with the PlayStation 3, and I appreciate that Sony went back to add these to old games. Sony decided to retroactively include PlayStation Trophies support to legacy titles, such as the original PlayStation’s Syphon Filter and Ape Escape. Examples of certain types of Trophies can be simply beating the first boss of a game or completing the game’s story. Trophies are little milestones that developers include in a game that add sort of a “badge” to your PlayStation profile. This feature will most likely cater only to certain audiences, such as Trophy hunters like myself. Plenty of third-party games, both big and small, are included Gran Turismo Sport and MLB The Show aren’t in the service, which is odd considering they’re created by Sony’s first-party studios. However, there seem to be a few titles that are strangely missing. It was nice of Sony to include those rather than just sticking with the regular PS4 versions that have less content. In particular, the PS5 Director’s Cut versions of Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding are available for download. It’s great that these big games are included for those who’ve yet to play them and want to pay a low-cost subscription fee instead of buying each title for upward of $70. These include games like God of War, Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, The Last of Us Remastered, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Death Stranding and Marvel’s Spider-Man. The first one is simply a new name for what PlayStation Plus offered before, which was a small monthly selection of games on top of basic online benefits. If we now take a more accurate temperature sensor with an accuracy of +/-2☌, again uncalibrated, you then have a temperature range of 87☌ and the lower part of the range being 83☌. Then, allowing for the inaccuracy of the temperature sensor again, we are compounding this issue as we still have to allow for the +/- 5☌, thereby making the lowest point actually 75☌. Your software will need to be set at its lowest or worst case point to 80☌. “If you have a target temperature of 85☌ and your temperature sensor is say, +/- 5☌ accurate, you then have a set point or a range of temperatures that can vary between 90☌ and 80☌. Power management software can be set to take action, whether to slow down clock frequencies in order to bring the temperature of the device down or possibly to set a thermal/temperature alert within the software, he explained. “These benefits come about through power saving, optimization of the device, and reliability.”Īllen cited an example involving two different temperatures sensors, both uncalibrated, one slightly more accurate, one slightly less accurate, by using a temperature scale of die temperature, there is target temperature of 85☌. “There are a number of benefits if you are able to accurately sense and control your die temperature,” noted Ramsay Allen, vice president of marketing at Moortec Semiconductor. And it raises the overall cost due to over-design. But that reduces performance and throughput as frequency throttling, circuit shutdown and other thermal management techniques are applied at more conservative temperatures. For example, thermal monitoring circuitry has a certain amount of error, so designers frequently add circuitry to compensate for these errors. Thermal guard-banding comes into play in multiple places in the design. Thermal analysis solutions that are integrated into the chip design, implementation and verification environments would be a key enabler.” “Being able to more accurately model the workload and temperature profile of a design is crucial for optimizing the performance and reliability of a design. “We know that the operating temperature of a design is directly dependent on its power consumption, but obtaining accurate power profiles is complex and highly challenging-especially if there are multiple potential use cases or scenarios,” said Lee Wang, technical marketing engineer at Mentor, a Siemens Business. While guard-banding is still used, it needs to be more carefully defined and precise, and it needs to be used in conjunction with more accurate thermal sensing and different thermal management schemes. And in the automotive space, carmakers are pushing suppliers to mitigate stress and electromigration, which can shorten the lifespan of parts.Īs a result, design teams are beginning to shift from just throwing more circuitry into a design. That approach is becoming less effective, though, particularly at advanced nodes and in designs where some processing elements are always on or chips are running at full speed, such as in AI chips inside of data centers or in edge devices that rely on a battery. Guard-banding for heat is becoming more difficult as chips are used across a variety of new and existing applications, forcing chipmakers to architect their way through increasingly complex interactions.Ĭhips are designed to operate at certain temperatures, and it is common practice to develop designs with some margin to ensure correct functionality and performance throughout the operating temperature range for its expected lifetime. ![]() A field hospital can help treat seriously injured soldiers. The Special Rifle Command, Support Weapon Kampaneya, Mechanized Armor Kampaneya, and the Tankoviy Battalion Command are the respective Soviet equivalents of the original game's barracks weapons support center, vehicle center, and tank hall. The Soviets' main structure is the Regimental Field Headquarters, which is used to produce conscripts and field engineers. Furthermore, buildings can be damaged by tanks and light vehicles driving into them. The building-damage system from Company of Heroes is retained and enhanced wooden buildings set afire will continue burning until they are reduced to cinders. However, the occupants can be flushed out through attacks by artillery or soldiers using flamethrowers and grenades. Units can occupy a civilian building and use it as a temporary strongpoint. Manpower is used to build common units, and the amount will decrease the larger a player's army grows. Thus, the resource intake will be curtailed if the opposing side captures territory that isolates ("cuts off") owned points from other allied sections in the map. In order for a player to receive the benefits of a captured flagged point, it must be part of a continuous area of captured territory, thus allowing an unbroken chain (" supply line") connected to the headquarters. The accumulation of these resources and the size of the player's army can be much faster if players capture various flagged points all over the map. Instead of the soldier units actually gathering at the flagged point itself, capturing the point is possible if the player's units are inside a specific zone with no enemy units in the same zone. Most armies can construct caches to increase the fuel or munitions income from these points, though some points produce a higher income of one material but cannot have caches built on them. Players will still capture specific flagged points all over the map to collect munitions and fuel credits, which will be invested in assembling their units. The resource-generation system from the first game has been modified. ![]() Again, the mass of a mole substance is called the molar mass, and to find the molar mass of a substance you just need a periodic table and the chemical formula. That’s the total molar mass of the compound CO2. Then finally you add all products, so 12 plus 32 is 44. You would multiply it by its subscript of 2, which is 32. Then you’d do the same thing with oxygen. Then the way you would find that is first you would find the atomic mass of carbon, which is 12, and then you’d multiply it by the subscript, which is just an understood 1 right there, so the product there would be 12. If you were trying to find the molar mass of the compound carbon dioxide, which looks like this-CO2-and the molar mass is 44. Then, to find the molar mass of the compound, you’re going to add all those products together. By multiplying the atomic mass by the subscript you’re getting the product, you’re getting the molar mass product for that atom. That way, you’re finding the total molar mass for all of that atom because you’re finding the atomic mass, then you’re multiplying it by however many times it appears in the compound. After you’ve found the atomic mass, multiply the atomic mass by the subscript. You’re going to start with one atom at a time. I’m going to show you a 3-step process for finding the molar mass of a compound.įirst, find the atomic mass of an atom. You kind of follow the same protocol for finding the molar mass of an element, but then you combine all those molar masses together to find the molar mass of the compound. Now the molar mass of a compound can be calculated by summing the molar masses of each atom and the chemical formula. That’s how you find the molar mass of an element. Now we’ll write it with a different unit because it’s also our molar mass, and that will be grams over moles: \(\frac\). If you’re looking at the element of copper you would look in the periodic table and find that it has an average atomic mass of 63.55 AMU, so that’s the molar mass. If you’re trying to find the molar mass of an element, then you’ll take the average atomic mass listed in the periodic table. To calculate the molar mass of a substance you need a periodic table and the chemical formula. We have excluded elements above 108 on this periodic table for the simple reason that the larger elements don’t really exist in the real world. The mass of a mole of substance is called the molar mass. Silver Element - Visual Elements Periodic Table. But one incredibly handy aspect of the periodic table is that those same. Element Silver (Ag), Group 11, Atomic Number 47, d-block, Mass 107.868. You might find a table of elements showing element 115 or even 118 elements total. For example, the atomic mass of hydrogen (symbol H) is 1.01 amu (atomic mass units). ![]() By recognizing the relationship between the molar mass (g/mol), moles (mol), and particles, scientists can use dimensional analysis. For example, if the atomic mass of sulfer (S) is 32.066 amu, then its molar mass is 32.066 g/mol. There is a Netflix documentary about this topic entitled Bob Lazar: Area 51 |
